Supported by six companies within our group, based in Germany, The Netherlands, United Kingdom and Denmark, which are specialized in recollection, recycling and reconditioning. Due to this we reduce the transport costs, CO₂ Emissions and getting your product even more sustainable, also by creating collection hubs.

How do we do this?

AST has multiple locations dedicated to reconditioning. Packaging (jerry cans, drums and IBCs) which were already used by the end user will be refurbished for reuse. We clean them inside and outside. The residual moisture is then removed in several drying steps and a pressure test and visual inspection are done to ensure the highest quality standards.

When we can’t reuse, we recycle. First we sort and grade the packaging. It depends on the UN number, the production date, the last filling good, the color and how long they were exposed to the sun how we process the product in our high end line. We can even make granules for UN products. You can trust on the high quality of our reusable packaging which are underlined with our knew own material laboratory.

AST is 50% circular by 2030

At AST we are constantly working on a sustainable future. Since we produce blown plastic packaging such as jerry cans and drums, we feel that we can achieve a lot of progress in our sector. Our goal is to have a 50% circular production in 2030 by keeping our packaging in circulation as long as possible. According to our philosophy “We provide CIrcularPACKaging Solutions!”.
